There is a strong argument to be made that with his numerous business entanglements worldwide, U.S. President-Donald J. Trump is running afoul of the Emoluments Clause. It is our duty to remain vigilant and ensure that he and other government officials are held accountable.
House Democrats have filed an Emoluments Clause Lawsuit against President Trump that we think will bear fruit and are thus keeping track of.

Several Emoluments Clause lawsuits have been filed but Yours Truly believes this one by House Democrats is by far the most promising because the plaintiffs(congressional Dems) have “standing” to sue. As you can see from the text of the Emoluments Clause above, it clearly specifies “…without the consent of congress”. Members of Congress therefore have standing to bring suit because they can show that Trump’s unconstitutional actions “harmed them”.
